My 2019 Mercedes GLC 300 came with navigation installed but I would like to install Garmin SD card which I bought already but when I put it in the slot, nothing happens. Is there a way to get it to work?
Thanks
It is on your window sticker in the “Options” place. Or you can ask your salesperson to send you pdf of your car build-sheet from Netstar. Or I can get it for you if you email me your VIN#. Just hit email envelope in the footer of this web page.
Maybe because you’re in Canada.. Just give your VIN# to your local MB Dealership – they will be able to run your build sheet and see if there is 355 code.
My VIN is https://www.mbdecoder.com/decode/WDD2050001R505841 but and I used Android Auto in my previous car (Alfa) but I don’t see the option in my MB. I only see MB-Link but the Android-option doesn’t come up when I connect it through the correct USB. Could you point me in the right direction? Many thanks.
This is non-U.S model, because in U.S 2019 C-Class models both Android Auto and Apple Carplay are standard equipment. I don’t see it on your build sheet. I guess Mercedes “MB-Link Smartphone Integration” is some kind of alternative to use your cell phone connected to a car, but I’m not familiar with that. Check with your local MB Dealership – they should be able to give you the correct advice.
hello MBZ MASTER,
from what i read you asked if there is 355 code in the vin summary.
i do have the ” 355 PREINSTALLATION FOR NAVIGATION RETROFITTING” on my car but i can’t get waze to work.
please could you help me on what i could do, it just does not show up on the car screen.

If should be plug and play.. does your car have 355 code installed?

Android Auto became available on some 2017-2018 models, was not available on the previous model years.
